Job Description & Responsibilities:

The role of .NET Developer will involve designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications. As a .NET Developer you will support and/or installs software applications/operating systems and participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. At least 80% of your time will be spent in hands-on coding tasks.

• Responsible for developing web based Application Service Provider products and project based work deployed via the Web
• Identify, learn and share knowledge about new web technologies that will contribute to client innovation and team education
• Application development in ASP.NET using C#
• Writing and evaluating requirements, technical architecture analysis and documentation along with other technical deliverables as needed
• Create and understand raw HTML/XHTML code and JavaScript
• Participate in user interface design and integrate with interior and exterior systems
• Ability to model and manage databases within SQL Server 2000/2005 or Oracle 10g

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrate ability to design, develop and maintain code:
• Capable of creating and understanding raw HTML/XHTML code and JavaScript
• Understanding of CSS and Web standards
• Knowledge of the HTTP protocol an plus
• Design and create .Net web services / REST services a plus
• Application development in ASP.Net using C#
• Ability to model and manage databases within SQL Server 2000/2005 or Oracle 10g
• Working understanding of relational database design process
• Understanding of source control and unit testing
• 2+ years of web application development
• 1+ years in .Net environment.
• 2+ years in application design and development.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as part of a larger development team

Desired Technical Experience:

• J2EE, Oracle 10G, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Development Framework, IIS, MCSD or MCP

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent in experience (at least 4 years)

Additional Notes:

Background screens are preformed and security clearance may also be required of the position. Active Security Clearance a plus
