Salary Range: 50 – 85K Full-Time

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Systems Administrator will be involved in designing, building, maintaining, securing and the overall operation of the network, servers and storage infrastructure.

• Develop detailed network and infrastructure specifications for project work
• Develop and recommend strategies for network growth, security, high availability and enhancements
• Design, install, and test network topologies to support Internet and other data transport channels
• Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures
• Research and evaluate new technologies
• Support ASP (Application Service Provider) security efforts and deployments
• Help refine deployment methodology for CDS and deploy applications to that specification
• Monitor systems and counter information security threats such as computer viruses or hacker attacks
• Coordinate and perform security penetration and load testing
• Manage infrastructure vendors and suppliers to ensure delivery and maintenance of equipment and services
• Design, specify, configure, install, and maintain local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet service providers
• Manage the Microsoft exchange server and backups

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must have at least 3+ years in the industry
• Windows 2003 Servers
• Windows Exchange 2003
• NetIQ or other monitoring solution
• Network switching and routing
• DNS backup solutions * Vertias Network backups a plus
• Active Directory Storage Area Networks

Desired:

• Juniper Network Firewalls
• Server Virtualization (VM Ware)
• F5 Networks
• Linux

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in experience (at least 6 years)
• Industry Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or CISSI

Additional Notes:

Background screens are preformed and security clearance may also be required of the position. Active Security Clearance a plus
